Northridge partnered with Stadia Ventures, a global venture capital firm and start-up accelerator (with a particular focus on sports tech), for their International Innovation Summit on 23 June in London.

Northridge partner Jon Walters chaired a panel on sponsorship and fan engagement alongside speakers Christopher Carroll, Dr Andrea N. Geurin (Loughborough University) and Jeff Meeson (Head of Europe, Octagon).

As part of the event, Genius Sports also hosted a panel on the expansion of US major leagues to international markets, a timely topic given the Major League Baseball (MLB) London Series hosted at the London Stadium the same weekend as Stadia Ventures' International Innovation Summit. Northridge acted for the London Stadium on this significant deal with MLB.

Stadia Ventures was delighted to be back in London, 3 years after the initial planning of the MLB London games between St Louis Cardinals & the Chicago Cubs.

Our aim is simple … we look to bring together “good” people. It’s a chance to spotlight early stage sports tech companies that we have invested in, and spotlight some fantastic C-suite leaders in the Sports industry on curated discussions around topics of interest.

To have 140 industry folks together @ Here East & Plexal was fantastic and we truly value the support of Jon Walters & the team @Northridge for our event. We hope it's not 3 more years until we are back!
