Kevin de Bruyne and GetMetrix announce exciting partnership
Northridge TRACK member GetMetrix and Northridge client Kevin de Bruyne have announced an exciting partnership to promote the launch of GetMetrix’s AI / augmented reality (AR) football improvement app.
Current PFA Premier League Players’ Player of the Year, De Bruyne, has partnered with GetMetrix to provide a series of exclusive masterclasses to help users motivate themselves to embark on a football improvement journey using a GetMetrix Plus subscription plan which provides access to over 300 football improvement videos.
Northridge supports GetMetrix with legal and business advisory services as part of the firm’s Northridge TRACK programme.
This has covered the full range of investment, commercial, and employment legal advice required for the growth of the business, as well as leveraging Northridge’s industry knowledge and network for the benefit of the company.
"Entering the Northridge TRACK programme has been truly transformational for our young company. The programme, through its legal and commercial advisory support, assisted us to transition the company to the UK, attract a £2M+ in seed investment and secure industry-leading partnerships including Kevin de Bruyne and several to-be-announced league and club commercial relationships. I would recommend the Northridge TRACK programme to any sports or media company looking to scale up its European presence."

This high-profile deal follows similar deals between Northridge clients and Northridge TRACK businesses, including the recent deals between market-leading data tracking business STATSports and both Raheem Sterling and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
"We are excited to see the launch of GetMetrix and its partnership with Kevin de Bruyne. We truly believe in the transformative impact of GetMetrix’s app on the way in which amateur players improve and measure their skills and we eagerly await public take-up on its launch. It has been a pleasure working with Andrew Hall and the GetMetrix team in a strategic role on its growth. It is a good example of how we aim to work with clients participating in our Northridge TRACK programme, not only through the provision of first-class legal support, but also with the softer benefits of being part of our community."
