Welcome to the latest edition of our Northridge TRACK newsletter.

In this update, we bring you:

• News on a recent Northridge matter highlight, acting for CM Management Limited, a boutique sports management agency, on the development of a new multi-platform sports entertainment channel known as “The Postman" for its client, Ian Poulter;
• A focus on our good friends at Athletico Ventures, which was founded in 2020 to help elite athletes invest in the most promising start-ups, alongside top tier investors;
• A legal update on the Data (Use and Access) Act, which received Royal Assent on 19 June 2025 and represents a significant update to the UK’s data protection regime; and
• A legal update covering the key changes to the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association’s (BVCA) standardised documents for early stage venture capital investments, published earlier this year.
