Matter update

Northridge acted for CM Management Limited, a boutique sports management agency, who provide representation and management to some of the world’s most elite athletes and sporting figureheads, including celebrated professional English golfer, Ian Poulter.

Northridge supported in the establishment of a joint venture between CM Management Limited, Ian Poulter, production company Prodigy Studios Limited, and newly incorporated entity The Postman Limited.

The partnership is for the development of a new multi-platform sports entertainment channel known as “The Postman”, to be produced by The Postman Limited. The parties will collaborate to create and distribute new content, as well as to engage in certain other related activities as part of the arrangement.

The Northridge deal team included George Willis, Victoria Scopes, Anna Corderoy and Alex Gibson.

Completion of the deal builds upon the firm’s strong experience and knowledge of the intersection between sports, technology and the media, in combination with the emerging trend which sees high profile athletes taking ownership over their commercial potential.
